5 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies three recall areas that deserve prompt attention. A missing right-rear ISOFIX anchoring bar could keep a child restraint from securing properly, increasing injury risk for a child. Communication-module software may send emergency responders to the wrong location after a crash if eCall does not transmit the correct position. A faulty seat-position switch may prevent air bags and seat-belt force limiters from operating properly during a crash. Because these conditions involve child restraint security, emergency response, and occupant protection, waiting can leave an important safety remedy unresolved. A complimentary VIN check helps clarify your CLA-Class status and identifies the appropriate next step.
